We Have Renamed: Mind Elixir Desktop Is Now Mind Elixir App
Mind Elixir Desktop has been renamed to Mind Elixir App. Same powerful mind mapping tool, new name that better reflects our vision.
We've officially changed the name of Mind Elixir Desktop to Mind Elixir App.
Why the Change?
To put it simply: "Desktop" just doesn't fit anymore.
Mind Elixir has grown far beyond a traditional desktop app. With AI features, Mind Elixir Cloud, and our Obsidian plugin, it's evolved into a complete ecosystem that follows you wherever you work. "Mind Elixir App" is a better way to describe what it is today—a unified, cross-platform tool that integrates with the rest of your workflow.
What Does This Mean for You?
Don't worry, the changes are purely in the name:
- Your workflow stays exactly the same. The app is the same one you use every day. Your data, settings, and features aren't going anywhere.
- Integrations will keep working. Your MCP configurations, OAuth setups, and bookmarks will function as they always have.
- The product you love isn't changing — it just has a name that fits better.

This rename is a step toward a more unified Mind Elixir experience. Whether you’re on your desktop, in a browser, or inside Obsidian, we want the experience to feel seamless and connected.
